Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone in Class 8!

As our class country is Canada, I thought that I would share a couple of Christmas facts with you – did you know that the first Christmas stamp was released in Canada in 1898?  Secondly, there are 2461 farms that grow Christmas trees in Canada, the most being found in Ontario – a total of 725 farms.

Has anyone been to any exciting Christmas events? I went to the Winter Gardens in Morecambe with the school choir recently and it was great!  My family came to watch me and it was amazing when everybody was given a candle whilst we sang “Silent Night.”  It was nice to see you there too Isabel – I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Last week, I saw my granny and grandad 3 times as they came to watch all of our nativities which was great.   On Friday, I loved dressing up for mufti day and my 2 brothers were both Santas!  This weekend, we have been putting some more decorations up - I have some blue and white snowflakes in my bedroom window.

One more week of school left, Christmas Day is getting closer and everyone is excited.  I hope that it snows and that everyone is looking forward to our class party on Tuesday.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone in Class 8!!!
